Our clientele include individuals such as C-suites, directors / shareholders and founders. In our work, we also advocate for SMEs including cutting-edge SMEs in the tech sphere and investment companies.
As criminal defence lawyers, we have defended individuals (including directors and C-suite) and companies charged with varied offences, including cheating, money-laundering, corruption, criminal defamation, offences under the Companies Act, Securities and Futures Act, and Workplace Safety and Health Act.

Jacintha is a litigator and focuses on both commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defence. She trained at an international law firm, where she acted for an MNC in an SIAC international arbitration case involving US$13.5 million contractual dispute concerning a joint venture. Thereafter, Jacintha worked at a boutique law firm and also a Big 4 Law Firm, where she advised and acted for a large cryptocurrency exchange which was facing regulatory investigations.
Jacintha is a hardworking, confident, and bold advocate. As lead counsel, Jacintha recently successfully argued and obtained ex parte interim injunctions in the High Court to protect her client's confidential information / intellectual property. In terms of her white-collar practice, Jacintha regularly defends directors charged with breaches of director’s duties. Jacintha also defended one of the “Fujian gang members” who were embroiled in Singapore’s largest money laundering case.
Jacintha graduated from the Singapore Management University with Juris Doctor Degree (Cum Laude), and where she topped her class for the Law of Torts. Prior to studying law, Jacintha graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science (Second Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore, where she topped her cohort for Political Science in her second year.
Hashim graduated from the University of Tasmania and was called to the bar in Singapore. His practice began with a focus on Civil and Criminal litigation, allowing him to hone his skills in courtroom strategy and legal writing. During this time, he had the unique opportunity to lead a High Court trial on equity and trusts, which gave him valuable experience in both written and oral advocacy.
With a passion for Intellectual Property law that he nurtured since law school, Hashim moved on to focus on IP litigation. His work included opposition actions at the IPOS Registry and trademark and patent disputes in the High Court. During this time, he also gained exposure to broader areas of Commercial litigation and Arbitration, diversifying his skill set and expanding his understanding of complex legal matters.
In his current role with JG Law Chambers LLC, he specialises in Commercial Litigation, particularly involving SMEs, as well as Arbitration and White Collar crime. He also takes pride in working across a wide range of legal areas such as intellectual property, probate, family and Syariah law. Known for his hardworking and cheerful nature, he approaches each case thoughtfully, ensuring his clients feel supported and informed throughout the process.

Acted for one of ten foreign nationals arrested in an island-wide police raid (15 August 2023) for money laundering-related charges, with $131 million in assets seized.
Regularly acts for directors charged with breaches of directors' duties, as well as corporate secretarial providers charged with abetment of these breaches.
Acted for an individual charged with criminal defamation related to KKH and alternative news site Wake Up Singapore.
Acted for clients charged with offences under the Securities and Futures Act, including a large-scale market manipulation scheme involving a Catalist-listed company.
Acted for a foreign company in a contested disposal inquiry involving a large money transfer (over USD $800,000) after an employee was duped.
Advised and acted for foreign clients requested for extradition to the USA on fraud charges, having fled the USA and subsequently been arrested in Singapore.
Defended an Australian director of a film production company in a High Court suit for claims of misrepresentation, failure of consideration, and breach of contract (Simran Bedi v Montgomery, Mark A [2022] SGHC 67).
Acted for a hospitality company in a High Court suit concerning breaches of a hospitality management agreement.
Represented a company in the State Court in prosecuting claims for breaches of loan agreements.
Defended a team leader in a State Court suit sued by his ex-employer for breach of a non-compete clause.
Acted for a local company applying for an injunction at the State Court to restrain its ex-employee from working for a competitor.
Acted for a consultancy firm in High Court suits involving breaches of directors’ duties and a minority oppression claim against a shareholder.
Acted for a minority shareholder seeking leave for the company to commence a derivative action for breaches of duties, misappropriations, torts, and other wrongdoings.
Successfully argued for and obtained leave from the High Court to commence a statutory derivative action (an arbitration) on behalf of a variable capital company.
Successfully obtained a settlement for a client in a trademark infringement case, resulting in the counterparty ceasing use of the mark and exiting the Singapore market.
Successfully argued for ex parte interim injunctions in the High Court to protect the client's confidential information and intellectual property.
Acted for an international food manufacturer in a US$13.5 million contractual dispute in an SIAC international arbitration case concerning a joint venture.
Part of the team that acted for an ASEAN government in resisting the enforcement of an arbitration award in the Singapore High Court on the grounds of fraud.
Successfully sought the setting aside of a final award in arbitration concerning a commercial dispute over a beef supply program, based on alleged breaches of natural justice.
